Maybe this one is my favourite. Anyway it's been a lot of fun doing this, I have another one planned that hopefully wont take me a year and I hope you all enjoyed it
Take care!
--- My sister Monica had a daughter last year on March 30th. Earlier that year I decided I should do something special as a gift and in the end I decided on a children's book that I would write and illustrate. At the time it seemed like something I would finish in a month or two...and it might have if it weren't for my extreme procrastination I'm kind of terrible for that.
Anyway, the original book was a totally different idea and I ran with that for a while before becoming bored with it and settling on my backup idea, which ended up being this.
So I worked on this off and on for about a year and it finally came in the mail all bound and looking spiffy about 3 weeks ago and I presented it to Monica and Norbert and Olivia (her daughter) last night. So I am finally free to post it here without fear of them stumbling across it
Overall I'm fairly happy with it. I'm very aware of flaws in the art and story and other areas where I will improve next time, but this is the first large project I've ever taken from beginning to end and I'm proud of that. So...enjoy!
Thank you very much I'm so glad you enjoyed it and you never know, maybe one night while your half asleep you'll hear a fluttering of the curtains and you wont know it, but it'll be him
Thank you for much for such a great comment It really means a lot to hear that people are enjoying it. Gives me the motivation to get going on the 2nd book

I thought I saw two snakes, but then I remembered that snakes don't inhabit carpeted regions.
